UPDATE: The 2000 Trees Initiative – How we did in 2019

Back in March 2019, we announced The 2000 Trees Initiative. We aimed to plant 30 trees with One Tree Planted for every project completed in 2019 with the goal of planting over 2000 trees… and that’s exactly what we did! We’re proud to announce that by the end of the year we’d completed 76 projects. That’s 2280 TREES!

Many of the those planted in the latter half of the year have been planted in Australia, where a lengthy wildfire season is still decimating swathes of countryside. People have been forced to flee their homes, wildlife has been killed, and vital habitats destroyed. We know the number of trees we’re planting there are drops in the ocean next to the level of devastation Australia is facing, but we hope they help in some small way.

We’ll soon be announcing a new environmental initiative for 2020. Keep your eyes tuned to the blog for a post about that popping up in the next week or so.
