Laura Tenison MBE, Founder and Director of hugely successful boutique Maternity and baby wear company, Jojo Maman Bebe visited Newport’s University last week to give an inspiring talk to fashion students about being successful in the industry. The final video is hosted on YouTube and embedded on our intranet.
The annual Summer Ball at the University of Wales, Newport is always an eye catching event. This year they had Chase & Status, Tinchy Stryder, Funeral For A Friend and The Hoosiers performing. This video is a roundup of the nights performances whilst giving prospective students an insight into what student life is like at Newport. Directed, filmed and edited by Stephen Cleary, assisted by Jenny Boyatt.
I was given the brief to create a very short video to be used as a looping advert on various student websites. The video advertises clearing places and support at the University of Wales, Newport. The video is aimed at A-level students so I decided to go with an 8-bit style stop motion video. The challenge was to get the message across in an eye catching style in a very short time.
