Northampton Music Festival

Amplitude Media headed the Project Delivery for the Northampton Music Festival for three years from 2013-2016. NMF is a free event held in Northampton town centre designed to raise the profile of the town through music.

Amplitude worked to completely review and develop the delivery, funding, programming and marketing strategy of the event over the three years we managed the contract. This included working directly in partnership with local authorities and funding bodies to ensure the event was able to reach maximum funding potential, and to deliver a strategy that met both community and partner needs.

In addition, Amplitude was responsible for overseeing the programming and artist management, the physical production (staging, logistics, security and bars), the full marketing and comms strategy, and production.

NMF has grown to be a diverse project supporting the region’s musicians and musical economy. The 2016 festival saw over 80 acts perform, all from Northamptonshire, spread across six outdoor stages and 12 venues across Northampton Town Centre, attracting over 35,000 people throughout the day.
